Edit history

Mortalita, formerly known as Mortalita Immortale, was founded in late 2005 by current members Kendric and Richard. It originally had four members, including Simon and Jarred (rhythm guitar). At first, they played covers by Metallica, Muse, and Korn. Towards the end of 2006, they Brought in Tom Hoey to do vocals (up till then the vocalist had been Kendric), and played several gigs around Toowoomba. 2007 brought changes for the band, including the changing of the name to Mortalita ("mortal" in Latin). Its influences and sound has changed dramatically since its formation. The band removed Jared, enlisted Mark as vocalist, soon after Tom "Quit". 2008 hopefully will bring the spot light to Mortalita, with a Demo already recorded with Joe, Mortalita will be focusing on getting shows and bringing the metal to Toowoomba. Spread the word.
