Formed at the end of 2005, Moth emerged from the underground of Perth W.A , with a response that far exceded expectations. Fronted by female singer/songwriter Ophelia, the show includes everything from an angry phone conversation to sodiomasochism.
Moth are a Perth based alternative rock trio who have been playing since 2014. The bands sonic makeup consists of traditional but textured guitar tones held together by a modestly chaotic rhythm section. Their music hints at the bitter sides of relationships and growing up in Perth, whilst evoking some nostalgic and positive undertones attached to those things.
I live in Melbourne. I write a lot. I love simplicity.
