Born in early 2017 out of a desire to write powerful, original music, Motions are a collective of experienced Townsville/Brisbane musicians who have been making waves in the NQ music scene with their unique blend of ambient, driving soundscapes and heavy, passionate alt-rock music. They combine thought-provoking lyrics with an atmosphere beyond their years as a band, creating a truly immersive experience for the listener which transcends effortlessly into their live performances. Described recently in a review by 'Wall Of Sound' Australia's leading alternative music publication, following a show at Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane. "With soaring soundscapes and ambient guitars these guys floated through their set with ease. Think Sleepmakeswaves meets Bon Iver, it's music that'll catch your attention but help you zone out on a sunny day soaking in the sun" Their brand new single 'Glass', is out now Stream and download debut EP here: motionsau.bandcamp.com
