With a spellbinding song-writing ability, and time-bending musical sensibility, Mr Alford currently based in Melbourne has a long rap sheet – from time spent cutting his teeth in Nashville bars, collaborating with the Malaysian Symphony Orchestra to playing guitar for Bill Chambers, his diverse experience explains his ability to enrapture any audience. His songs cover many themes and reflect his vast experience on the road in his posty van, with a sound steeped in all aspects and eras of country folk music and traditional to modern bluegrass. His live shows consist of him yelling pretty songs at strangers whilst wearing cool trainers. "ALBUM" I'm currently releasing a new album called "ALBUM". An ever expanding collection of Mr. Alford recordings that feature over twenty of Australia's finest country musicians. Join us in this celebration of top tear Australian country folk talent. The first three singles have all charted in the top ten on the Australian Metro Radio Charts and we're all beyond excited. On a personal note this is a dream album, it was a real team effort full of all stars! This "Album" continually exceeds what I imagined possible and the best bit is there's plenty more to come! One single every month until I run out of songs or months, it’ll be my final album. * In addition to his music Mr Alford moonlights as a well recognised illustrator producing works from bands to beer labels. All the artwork for the album and supporting media is illustrated by Mr Alford.
