G'day all! We're Mr Sandman, a 3-piece rock band originally from York in Western Australia. For those of you not savvy with Perth and it's geographics, York is about 2 hours east of Perth....which means we're about 2.5 hours from anything resembling a beach or a life. Just to give you an idea, if you're into historic builings, wild flowers, churches & museums, riverwalks and knitting - York is the place for you. It's basically a farming town within the wheat-belt, which borders on the desert. The only thing worth ANYTHING east of us was the goldmining town of Kalgoorlie about 30 years ago. We do love our home town & or heritage, it's just not the sort of place for a young bloke to play up. Everyone knows everyone. So if you're caught lighting a paper bag full of turd on someones door step, the whole town could read about it on the front page of the local paper within 7 days.
