Mr TigerBear is a Walyalup (Fremantle) based multi-instrumentalist, music producer and singer/songwriter. Mr TigerBear is a solo project that takes the listener on a laid-back and lively journey through love and loss. The lyricism is poetic, metaphoric and kinda witty. Rootsy, rhythmic, and quirky, Mr TigerBear blends elements of alt-folk, neo-folk, and dreamy psychedelia. Little Miss Understood is the artist's debut release. Little Miss Understood is a song about wanting to fit in, even if you are a square peg in a world full of round holes. Featuring bluegrassy harmonies over an interesting and atypical arrangement in an alt-americana style, the lyrics describe the artist's journey from anxiety to self-acceptance, with humour and levity. The track was recorded at Hopping Mouse Studios, Walyalup, Western Australia, by Davids Robertson & Pensabene. Mixed and mastered by Dave Robertson.
