We're Adelaide based, Mums Favourite, a 5-piece group with serious musical chops and a love for the bluesy indie-rock. Our sound is deeply cultured and bluesy, but we play it off with a tease of retro vibes from the 70s and youthful attraction that keeps our fans coming back for more. Frontwoman and lyricist Sasha Theunissen, the band produces honey dripping vocals, heart thumping bass, and swampy, punchy originals with relatable lyrics and rhythms that swirl and change, Playing together since 2017, we continue to gain momentum in the local scene around Adelaide. We've sold out shows, carved our way into the music industry and started gaining some serious traction in terms of getting our music out there. We love uniqueness and originality through our infectious melodies and deep connection with the crowd. Their goal as a group is to share their music across the globe and encourage and empower non-male identifying musicians and engineers to seize every opportunity and pave the way.
