Murray Doon is a trio formed in 2019 by lifelong friends Brock Sims, Kieran Goldsbrough, and Rhys Druery in Cronulla, NSW. Named after a quiet apartment block in their hometown, the band delivers a bold mix of garage rock infused with indie, punk, stoner, and psychedelic influences. Their music revolves around heavy riffs, fuzz-laden tones, and memorable melodies, earning them a reputation for raw, high-energy performances. After releasing their first singles in 2022 and playing some of Sydney’s top live venues, they returned to the studio with producer George Georgiadis in 2023, releasing the singles Ever Better and Way Out East shortly after. Their debut album, No. 19, released on 24 January 2025, showcases some of their heaviest and most dynamic work yet. Featuring brand-new songs and well-known fan favourites, the album captures the raw intensity and creative energy that define Murray Doon’s sound.
