Loosely translated as ‘tying two or more things together,’ Musubi is an appropriate title for a sound that strikes a balance between organic and electronic. With a background playing and touring with alternative rock bands, his productions draw inspiration from a wide sonic palette including jazz, lo-fi house, UK bass and ambient. As a drummer foremost, Musubi’s music is unsurprisingly geared towards live performance, and it’s on stage behind the kit where the magic really happens.
