Formed in early 2004 by Micah Yowyeh and Damian Campbell as an original band. Two songs written by Micah and Damian before being joined by Ben Channon on bass guitar and finally Michael Shaw completing the line up on vocals in mid 2004. Each of the band members played previously in bands around Mackay and knew of each other before working together. My Dying Days plays a style of music that clearly draws on influences such as rock, grunge, punk, hip-hop and heavy metal. From the bands first live performance in November 2004, My Dying Days have built a very loyal following of fans in their hometown of Mackay, QLD due to energetic and emotinally charged live performances. In 2005, the band released their debut E.P. entitled Blood Red Romance with highly respected and sought after producer Stuart Niven (The Butterfly Effect, The Red Paintings, Melodyssey) at Modern Music Studios.
