My Empires is Ant Rosen, a Melbourne musician with a long list of achievements, and a passion for fuzzy alternative pop. Recorded between Melbourne and New York, with acclaimed producer Andy Baldwin, My Empires' debut album 'And All That You Believe' is a tip of the hat to bands like Doves, Swervedriver, The Killers and My Bloody Valentine. Given early life as a band in some of Melbourne's best live venues, My Empires first put songs to tape at the infamous Sing Sing studios three years ago. Since then My Empires has evolved, moving between Melbourne and New York to record this anthemic collection of songs. Now, with the album complete and a move to Sydney, a whole new phase in the My Empires story has just begun. Whether it's the hypnotic drive of Sparkle & Fade, the acoustic underpinnings and quiet hook of Brooklyn Day, or the delicate heart of Sword, 'And All That You Believe' is a dreamy world to disappear into where guitars are the currency and music is the religion.
