Sofia is from Sweden and moved to Australia in January 2011. The first thing she did was to look for a band to play her songs from her own produced cd she recorded in Sweden in June 2010. Jon and Darryl was found and they made a new sound to her songs. Jon has a lot of experience in different cover bands and a few original bands and thought it was time to play in a original band again! Darryl a very talented drummer with an amazing sense of rhythms, brings so much life to the songs and creating new beats for every new song that is made. Sofia writes the music and lyrics and the inspiration is good so in the last couple of months she has written 5 new songs that the band soon will record to release their new sound that they lately have created. A mix of different musical inspirations and it makes the Mindtree grow to a timeless, inspirational, interesting ambient pop rock music style.
