“Vines-esque springs to mind. I like that one. Nice!” Jane Gazzo – Max TV, Music presenter “Its got promise. Australia always I think has a soft spot for bands that you could go see at a pub and have a beer with afterwards. I’d have to listen to it a few more times. Good energy.” Dom Alessio – Triple J @ FTM Fresh off the release of their first single “Yeah! The People” in March of this year, Melbourne three-piece MY PIRANHA have racked up a bunch of shows around town gaining a loyal fan base. MY PIRANHA are a merge of alternative grunge and rock ‘n roll that creates a rocketing punchy sound that reflects a blending of the coolsie indie rock style of The Vines, and lo-fi garage sounds of Sparklehorse.
