Born in a car and raised on a farm in the Mallee, Myvanwy has been playing guitar since age 7. Her stripped back grunge style came naturally to her then, and hasn't changed much since. She's been described by fellow musicians as Grunge Honey and a "one woman ass-kicking machine armed with an SG." She made her debut in the Melbourne music scene playing open mics and busking, where people would often remark on her unique songwriting style and unconventional lyrics. Her latest single "Junk in the Jewel Heap" which was launched mid December is arguably her most honest work yet. This track epitomises the musical simplicity and lyrical originality that makes Myvanwy Myvanwy.
