A sound birthed from her home studio, Melbourne based singer songwriter MYAMI has crafted her own distinct sound of melodic electro-pop. Drawing inspiration from nostalgic roots of Mariah Carey, TLC and Destiny’s Child, the vocally driven tracks are layered over ambient beats from Melbourne producer, Wayfarer//. MYAMI is synonymous with the movement of strong female indie-electro artists that are storming the airwaves. With glitter shoes and fierce attitude, this is one artist you need to discover. MYAMI burst onto the scene in early 2015, catching the attention of international blogs after releasing her debut track Soldier. Having ridden the wave of accolades, Melbourne and Sydney fans got their first taste of what’s to come at the artist’s single launch and support tour. Now in 2016, MYAMI has just dropped her fifth single The Fire, which does not disappoint.
