It's hard to label MZ.WOOD into one genre. What kind of artist supports the likes of EVE (USA), Diafrix, Red Ink and The Potbelleez all in the space of a few years? You try : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQyWtdGVHkU Her sound continuously evolves depending on where she is playing, who she is playing with and for what she is wearing! If 'flexible' and 'diverse' were genre descriptions both those boxes would be ticked for sure. Having worked and performed with such a sparse bunch of collective musicians, producers and artists MZ. allows herself to be influenced by each entity and their the different approaches to music, still keeping true to her roots. With a range from pop/electronica to her club banging remix's to her rock influenced live shows, when accompanied by her band, MZ.WOOD could be the artist you fall in love with next.
