Hello. My name's Namby. I like writing music. I often go for a lyrics-based approach, unless I'm feeling funky. I enjoy blurring the lines of satirical and serious, crossing a few different genres. I grew up learning classical piano but last year recorded a rap-based EP so I could feel socially accepted in modern culture. Is it working? The EP is pretty dank. Word on the street is you can listen & buy a physical from my Bandcamp website. Five buckaroos plus postage - that's what I call a bargain. https://namby.bandcamp.com/ Since last July I've been a lot more into folk and alternative. Started busking heaps around Brissy to practice my singing. Fave places to hit up are main streets of Nundah & Toowong. I love collaborating, both in writing or performance, so if you're a singer or songwriter near Brissy who loves a good vibe and isn't too concerned with musical appearance, hit me up!
