Nankeen formed in the latrobe valley around monash university's gippland campus. Members michael and michael recruited bassist ben and with a few songs together brought in vocal yokel nick to punch some heavy sounds out of their exhausted speakers and bleeding fingers. Playing a range of shows and releasing two Ep's has seen nankeen develop their sound from mere parlour games to a brutal aural assault. Now they are eager for a chance to take on the nation.
