Nat McIver grew up in Central Queensland, in a town where there are more dogs than people, and only one pub. Artists like Sara Storer and Missy Higgins inspired her to start songwriting. In 2011 she participated in the Music Count Us In workshop with Rai Thistlethwaite (Thirsty Merc), Holly Throsby, Clare Bowdtich and Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe). She's gradually recording her originals acoustically, with her debut EP becoming more of a reality than a dream.
