The quest for success in the music industry began a short 5 years ago when a self-released single 'I Waited' landed top 6 of the Nokia be heard competition in 2007. Since 2007 after receiving advise from industry professionals, I concentrated on writing new material. Studying Audio engineering and learning piano as a composition tool, it was here that my desire was affirmed. Spending many hours studying the works of female vocalists such as Aretha Franklin, I was inspired to be true to myself musically at any cost and keep working towards my goal to make honest music, perform honestly and pay homage to the female songstresses that have inspired me.
