Emerging from a small town in the highlands of Victoria, Australia. Nathan Dixon grew up working in several different family businesses. With no thought to the future, he was living sofa to sofa. In a small town, his only escape would be his acoustic guitar. The Maton acoustic was a gift from a close friend. This would be the source of many of the early original songs produced. Early attributes to his artistry involved an obsession to Australian rock bands played by popular radio stations. Especially those of the 80’s and 90’s. These Artists include; INXS, The Living End, Grinspoon, Spiderbait, Paul Kelly, Silverchair and Midnight Oil. Pushed from his time in various music schools to discover new sounds, artists and aesthetics. Nathan found influence in other modern artists and early jazz artists. From The jungle giants and Datarock to Miles Davis and Joe Henderson. These newly found sounds would go on to push the “out of the box” hooks and ideas in Nathan’s newest song releases,
