"If I could say it in words there would be no reason to write music" Born in inner Sydney, Australia... I first started making mix tapes back in the late '80s using a double cassette player and a single record player in my bedroom. I used a pen to wind the tapes backwards and forwards to cue the tracks and eliminate the noise from the pause button. I first started beat mixing using 2 x Technics 1210 MK2 on vinyl in approx 2000 which I bought from central stations records. I have DJ'd at various nightclub, gigs, radio shows and private parties. Including my fav the pilot for FBi radio station mixing on milk crates above a pub in Newtown. I first started writing music in the late 90's when i purchased the original version of propeller heads, 'rebirth'. Which faithfully emulates dance music's three backbone devices: The Roland TB-303 Bass synths and the Roland TR-808 and 909 drum machines. (Combined with FX units & pattern sequencers) At present I mostly use software such as sony acid
