Ned Taylor is a self-taught singer-songwriter-multi instrumentalist from rural Tasmania. His early influences were Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon. In high school Ned was introduced to grunge and his influences rapidly turned to Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Tool. His music now presents an eclectic and emotive mix of these early influences and his own creative expression. He recently recorded his second solo EP. This EP entitled Van Diemen's Land is based on Tasmanian themes of convicts, treatment of Tasmanian Aboriginals and his experiences of growing up in the bush in Tasmania. Enjoy
