Neo Relic, the Melbourne-based progressive rock/metal band who have succeeded in their endeavours to blend the heaviest elements of the current metal scene with the catchy and singable hooks of popular music. With such an eclectic pool of influence, NR achieves the perfect amalgamation of inspiration and individuality. Separating Neo Relic from the multitude of bands that identify under the heavy music blanket is their ability to engage listeners who are not otherwise fans of metal genres. The principal songwriter of the band, Phillip Voulanas (lead & rhythm guitarist) priorities the emphasis on melody and arrangement in the compositional structure of the song writing process. Singer and captivating front woman Deanna Curulli (lead vocalist) has honed her craft in singing, lyric writing and stage presence, which all serve as a huge attraction to the Neo Relic live shows. Together, both Phillip and Deanna work toward achieving a singable/hummable melody to every NR song written.
