A BAND BEYOND THE BORDERS OF JAPAN AND AUSTRALIA NEREUS is a guaranteed festival crowd pleaser. With deep double bass drums influenced from Taiko and strong percussive contagious beats to boogie to. While playing live new modern oriental catchy music, DANCE moments take place by two Aussie mates, who easy to say slay the D-floor as if they have been doing it to pay their rent since leaving home (which they have!). It includes world instruments through electronics, rock riffs, groovy soulicous bass lines, modern urban beats and rhythmic positive self loving poetry. The band seeds from such a rare story and to achieve what they have has taken patience and persistence. NEREUS was formed when lead vocalist & dancer TRAVERS ROSS left Australia on an adventure to build connections over seas. Travers for a short time became an English Sensei in Japan. While there he was asked to perform at the RED BRICK FESTIVAL, IBARAKI in NOV 2014, where he was spotted by Guitarist/ Producer Bergamot
