Neumes is the creative project of Singer-Songwriter and Producer Tim Steers who after 4 years of living in Melbourne is back in his adopted home of New Zealand with songs to sing and stories to tell.Coming from the Greek word for breath, and also used as a term for basic musical notation in the 9th Century, NEUMES promises to unfold into a place beyond the regular and give the listener something to think about. Having had songwriting success in New Zealand previously with the Lookie Loos and in Australia with Lost Colonies, NEUMES is a continuation of Tim's layered pop songwriting sensibilities but this time with a DIY edge.
