New Fridge is a Sydney based synth and guitar act playing their own unique mix of punk, new wave and hip hop influences. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Michael Fridge and long-term collaborator Andy Pasto on keyboards, together with their pumping sequenced bass and rhythm tracks and great backing vocals. Reviving classics from the New Fridge repertoire of quirky songs of political satire and social comment, they’ve combined these with more recent material exploring current themes. There’s no doubt, whenever they play they have the audience hanging on every word, even if there is still a lot of the world left to change!
