New Nausea is an alt-folk/indie rock band from Walyalup (Fremantle) Western Australia. Their songs are sort of sad and sort of funny and pretty catchy without being really annoying. In 2020 they self-released their first album Fountain of Struth, garnering extensive radio play, a WAM Best Album nomination and support slots for Jebediah, Jessica Pratt and more. This year they released their second album Music for Frogs. “There’s a lovely uplifting soulfulness about New Nausea’s alt-country leanings, but the band also has echoes of Television (the band, not the appliance) and make plenty of room for the louds the quiets and the moments to riot.” – Bob Gordon, Xpress Magazine
