NEW THIEVES are a collaboration between Australian musicians Geoff Hughes and Graeme Riddell, who worked together in 1980s Sydney bands The Victims and X-iT. Their new album SIMPLE THING (released 1/11/25) concludes the bands 2 album homage to their late friend and collaborator Steve Hirst, who was instrumental in co-writing the original versions of these songs back in the 1980s. Their first album New Thieves was released in mid-2024 to favourable reviews.
