Sounds Like: an unidentified flying object, melting butter on a crumpet, dark maroon, the taste of desire, the smell of day old roses, a crumpled dress, tassled hair and unlit cigarettes, cups of tea and moonlight walks, black and white, a dream...After discovering she could sing and play a few chords at the same time Nicci started writing her own songs and performing and busking locally. Two years after picking up the guitar for the first time she has just recorded her debut album titled "First Time' at home with her dad Jamie. Self taught and original, Nicci's music id captivating and raw, it exudes honesty and sometimes confrontation. Her songs are about her own dreams, and fears, follies and unrequited loves.
