Ever wanted to hear a perfect mixture of dissonance and bliss? you probably won't find it here....but it's not a bad mix. Scott has been trained in music theory, Nic has been trained in writing lyrics (year 12 english is alright, yeah?). Together they wanted to make a song, or two. The first song being titiled The Epic of Springtime/The Epic Nightmare; written over the course of 2 days, 2 months apart. They pioneered the Ipod slide on guitar, they copied sigur ros in singing into the guitar pickup (although Scott's guitar is an acoustic) and they didn't pioneer putting acoustic guitars through constant delay & distortion pedals. Think an easy listening, acoustic Sonic Youth...with harmonies. Interested? Confused? Together, they are.....The Groove Squadron....(or Nicholas & Scott)
