Australian singer songwriter Nick Balcombe picked up a guitar in 2000 and hasn’t put it down since. Initially content with learning songs for campfire sing-a-longs, what started off as a hobby quickly developed into a passionate endeavour. Nick found a welcome outlet in embracing his creativity and soon began writing songs of his own. A traveller at heart, Nick took an extended trip overseas to Europe, North America and Mexico in 2008 and found a new appreciation for the stark contrast between the Australian lifestyle and that of the world community. This fuelled his desire to capture the emotions and lessons of life’s stories through song. In 2010, Nick released his first recorded effort, A Collection of Demos. Spurred by praise and interest from an enthusiastic following, he continued to develop his sound and began to seriously pursue a career in music.
