Starting piano as a child at 8, guitar at 14, my first album recording was at age 15. My dad was a huge Rick James fan. My mom had approved a local radio station with what they called "soft rock" which was basically artists like Cheap Trick and Richard Marx. In junior high I found my identity in playing live shows with my band at local venues covering metal and alt rock. Everything about writing and recording music has changed since then and I love it.
