Edit history

Nick Rose is Sydney's latest alternative artist stepping onto the scene of modern music, but the story didn’t start here.
Hailing from the inner redneck countryside in a small town, Rose lived an interesting upbringing. All the while, taught himself guitar first at age 11 while envisioning forming a metal band to take over the world (as young, angsty teens often do). As time went on, he got older, relocated to Sydney in 2017, and upon discovering Jeff Buckley - taught himself how to sing in 2018.
Come 2022, he has performed and released under various acts and names, but only now in his coming-of-age chapter has he gone solo fronting his authentic self.
New song 'Andrea' has marked this first chapter on January 21st, 2022. Performing everything in the studio with the exception of drums, and influenced by the likes of: Jeff Buckley, Kings of Leon, blink-182, RHCP, Steve Vai and more - Nick Rose is 'one new Sydney rock act to keep very close tabs on' (Happy Mag TV).
