After a year earning a living busking on King St Newtown, Mathieu ( from Bordeaux, France) ran into fellow musicians Dave Kelly (saxophone) and Leslie Marsh (drums) and they embarked on a musical collaboration. When French double bassist, Vincho (Bordeaux, France) joined the group, the quartet was complete and the NIMEO sound was forged. Utilising their experiences busking and working a crowd, the band has the ability to turn quiet bars and parties into cauldrons of dancing joy and sweatiness. Just ask anyone who has seen a NIMEO set!
