Noot Records is a solo female composer and producer from Newtown, Sydney, formerly the vocalist/guitarist and drummer in various bands from 2000 to date. This project marks my solo return to making music after a hiatus devoted to songwriting and experimentation, as well as studying drumming with Tad McCully in New York. The song is an infectious poppy ode to Sydney's inner west, primarily its rich musical history and gentrified present.
