Formed October 2009 in Sydney, No Such Luck are a three-piece hardcore punk and thrash band with Rob Myers on bass and vocals, Jaiden Murray on guitar and vocals and Dan Tesseyman on Drums. With lyrics by Rob and Jaiden pointing out the flaws of society, No Such Luck draw influence from 80s hardcore, 90s punk and powerviolence, early D.R.I., early Raised Fist, and No Comment. No Such Luck have played regular shows throughout 2010 and early 2011 with local bands Everest, Clean Break, and Deny and Defy and scored a support slot with French melodic crust band, Chicken’s Call on their Australian tour in April. In December, the boys supported fastcore Italians, Un Quarto Morto during their Australian tour in Newcastle and Sydney. Most recently they supported New Zealand experimental punk duo Mr Sterile Assembly on their mini tour of Australia. Embracing the DIY approach, No Such Luck produced and recorded their debut EP, Less Fashion, More Thrashin’ in mid 2010 on their own. The boys
