Described as ‘The Discount Cast of Trainspotting,’ ‘notdare’ consists of bassist/vocalist Ben Roseland, lead guitarist Patrick Burgess, synth/rhythm guitarist Peter Schubert and drummer Zac Roe. Crafting a sound which is not only exciting but also experimental, ‘notdare’ has become a band to keep your eye on. Drawing from a wide range of influences including the likes of New Order, Beabadoobee, Parliament and the Beach Boys, ‘notdare’ have spawned tracks which they would describe as “psychedelic new wave.” Through walls of distorted guitars, melodic bass, an imaginative drum line and heavenly synth lines, "notdare" is not easy to ignore. With a tendency to be described as "cooked", notdares' social media presence has been leaving fans intrigued and maybe even disgusted. Often sharing their bizarre antics, it is a window into the surreal weirdness the band has to offer. Engaging with fans, showcasing instrumental jams and casual nudity, it is hard to look away. ok thanks take care
