Nothing Really is a four-piece indie/alternative band from the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. Channeling the indie-rock introspection of bands like Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy, Nothing Really’s considered approach to making music is both genuine and focused. Lead singer, Vic Austin, unpacks the complexity of the relationships we share, gently wrestling with the discomfort of what it means to be flawed and fallible. Recorded by Cry Club's Jono Tooke, I Follow shows the band in full force with unruly shoegaze guitars and eclectic drumming. Singer Vic Austin explains that the song is "an attempt at capturing the intensity of friendships that verge on the romantic. A feeling of excitement and vulnerability that I wish I could bottle up and hold forever".
