Edit history

Novacane is a three piece alternative rock group from Geelong, Victoria. The band was formed in mid 2006 by Guitarist/Vocalist Brenton "Mort" Mortelliti, and Drummer Jack Nicol. They soon added Bassist Rafik Zeffane to the line up and Novacane was born. Novacane take their roots from bands such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead and Muse and blend them all together to create driving riffs and funky beats similar to those of bands such as Rage Against The Machine. The vocals which could be compared similarily to early Thom Yorke, take the music away from a heavy driving punk or hardrock and into the unknown.
