Unrelenting drums, driving riffs, vocals sung with such ferocity you fear for the singer’s throat and most of all ... LOUD. These are the four elements that make up Brisbane’s rock quartet, Nuclear Buddha. Nuclear Buddha’s high energy live performances are the perfect counterpoint to vocalist Lauren Parker’s dark and emotionally driven story telling accompanied by a voice unlike any other within the music scene. 2010 saw the band complete their current line up and Nuclear Buddha has since shared the stage with The Poor, Weaponhead, Cast Iron Piñata and the Flangipanis as well as a host of other talented local bands. These shows are accompanied by an energetic, unforgiving live show that highlights guitarist Heath’s unique ability to occupy every facet of the stage, bassist Brendon’s trademark ‘Brendon Bop’ and stickman Paulie the Skipper Hardwick’s brutal attack on the skins. February 2012 will see the band release their first full length album ‘I’m Not Wrong, I Think I’m Right’
