Nunn Fu have pick pocketed the groove out of James Brown's skin tight sequined pants, added lior's spices, covered it all in G-Love's special suace and finally laid back in one of Jack Johnson's backyard banana chairs While most groups go to all of the usual traditional extremes to attract attention to themselves, Nunn Fu are happy to just concentrate on enjoying the recording process and simply waiting to see how things unravel. Nunn Fu plan to grow & build their following & reputation through making underground impressions with the punters. Success for Nunn Fu rides on people enthusiastically spreading the word. There was no master plan when long time songwriting pals Shan and Jumz made their way into the studio in February 2006 with an invite from friends & Engineers Jason & Gavin at the Mona Vale Music Warehouse to lay down a couple of tracks. A sporadic period of tracking has followed over the next six months now exploding into what will be their 14-track debut release
