Jesse Harman, aged 16, who goes under the stage name Nytesyde, is an MC whose content is centered on the darker sides of adolescence and adulthood. Drawing from Melbourne MC Pez and Sydney group Horrorshow, his lyrics target areas of the mind usually left alone by those seeking a more mainstream thrill. Based in Maryborough, Victoria (Ballarat region), he has released five tracks, including Pale Light Burning, a journey through the minds of adolescences who've been the subjects of domestic abuse and fractured family lives, and Ode to the Broken, an abstract, rhythmic expression of anxiety and self exploration.
