Melbourne-based art pop band Odie Ida is quickly drawing fans for the harmonies of the dual front-women whose voices merge so effortlessly the effect has been described as 'live vocoder'. Powered by drums, bass and keys, the five-piece multi-instrumentalist band features three vocalists, cavaquinho, ukulele, violin and cello. This new band, which launched in 2014, is the brainchild of cousins Biddy Healey and Maddie Thiele, who have been making music together since they were wee tackers.
