Edit history

OESOPHAGUS was formed in New Zealand in 1997 with the intention of writing and performing original, brutal heavy metal. After playing countless gigs around New Zealand, (and featuring on compilation albums and receiving radio play), OESOPHAGUS realised they had gone as far as they could go in their home country, so the band decided to spread their wings and move to Australia. Based on the Gold Coast they then released their debut Australian e.p. Recorded at Core Studio's by Nick Carpenter, Mixed at Green Tree Studio's, released through Green Media/MGM 16/12/06. The track 'Like You' is the opening song off the E.P. The two demo tracks Transformer and No Love were recorded early 2008 also at Core Studios. OESOPHAGUS disbanded in mid 2008 with no likelihood of reforming.
