The Great Red Whale are an electronic outfit hailing from Sydneys dark places. They are often described as being better than Mulgas Room but not as good as The Presets. Sometimes when the wind is blowing in the right direction they get together and drop their phat beat on unsuspecting earlobes. Their title track "Abducted by Aliens" was conceived in a dark dungeon deep in the lower recesses of Oatley Valley near the famed Death Valley of whence the Vines hail from. The gatekeeper of this dungeon known only as "Crack Fox" whipped The Great Red Whale to within an inch of its life until the title song was perfected to such a degree that ears have been known to bleed tears of golden honey upon first hearing this musical masterpeice. The Great Red Whale welcomes you into a journey through time and space through adventure and strife where the only limits are your imagination to dream big and fulfill your every hearts desire.
