Based in Melbourne, Victoria, Old Monks delivers a unique, alternative sound that stems beyond the bounds of convention. Through a distinctive use of pedal heavy 80's inspired guitar, coated with an alluring, idiosyncratic baritone voice, founding members Tom and Alex's recent EP 'Monks in Paradise' presents a wall of sound that is high-powered and true in its conveyance. Influence heavy, Old Monks twists it's 70's and 80's inspired sound and blends it into a contemporary, new age experience that is satisfying for listeners of any age group.
