Olive is a lattice of electronica, sweeping melodies and experimental soundscapes. The new album – Splice the Sour – has just dropped! In 2015 I was chosen to take part in an all female producer course, in Sweden, that was mentored by, Karin Dreijer from The Knife and Fever Ray. Throughout the course I composed track, "Falsara", which was included on the previous EP, When the Sound. I performed it live in front of Karin and world renowned DJ, Paula Temple. Next I wanted to prove to myself that I could write an entire album on my own. I'm happy with how it turned out. Inspired by The Knife, Björk & 80s music from John Hughes' movies, Splice the Sour came to life.
