Oliver Beard is a mainstay of Sydney’s indie music scene. A constant collaborator, Beard works as a songwriter, producer, and performer with some of Australia’s most exciting upcoming talents including: Gretta Ray, Chris Lanzon, Lucy Sugerman, Jerome Blazé, Sarah Levins, and Betty (Amy Mifsud). 2025 saw the release of Beard’s EP, ‘I’m Coming to Kill You’. Pulling from a wide variety of influences, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Beck, and Big Thief, the EP was recorded live to tape at Sydney’s Golden Retriever Studios. The EP gained strong editorial support from Spotify, and radio play across JJJ, Sydney's 2SER, and fbi amongst others. 2025 also saw Beard work as a songwriter, producer and engineer on Chris Lanzon's debut album 'You're Missing the Best Part'. An ARIA charting release, the album received strong editorial support from Spotify and Apple Music.
