On’yu’s music is a bit more than a side quest. It’s a compulsion. Rob Eggleston (On’yu) is a Melbourne based multi-instrumentalist with a deep love for soul, R&B and pop, and a decent ear for melodies that land right, stick and just move. Rob’s work pops because of its range: funny one moment, tender the next, somehow fresh but familiar… human… al dente! He is highly collaborative and he chases character, chemistry, and dash of live energy. The kind of stuff made by someone who can’t help but dive into deeper feels, better music, broader styles.
